1. Purpose
This Content Policy explains what kinds of content may and may not be uploaded, published, promoted, linked to, or otherwise made available through The eBook Library.
The purpose of this policy is to protect users, maintain platform quality, reduce legal and reputational risk, and ensure that The eBook Library remains a trustworthy marketplace, discovery, and referral platform for eBooks and related digital content.
All sellers, users, authors, publishers, creators, and contributors must comply with this policy.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all content made available on or through The eBook Library, including but not limited to:
- eBook titles
- eBook files
- cover images
- descriptions
- subtitles
- excerpts
- author bios
- seller profiles
- sales pages
- AI-generated sales page content
- bonus materials
- downloadable files
- external links
- checkout destination pages promoted through listings
- testimonials, reviews, and social proof
- credentials and authority claims
- guarantees and promotional statements
3. Platform Standard
The eBook Library is a marketplace, discovery, and referral platform for eBooks and related digital content.
All content on the Platform must be lawful, truthful, respectful of rights, and appropriate for a general marketplace environment.
Content may not be uploaded, published, linked, promoted, or distributed if it is unlawful, deceptive, harmful, abusive, infringing, or otherwise inconsistent with platform standards.
4. Prohibited Content
The following types of content are prohibited.
A. Pornographic and Sexually Explicit Content
Pornographic content is strictly prohibited.
This includes, without limitation:
- pornography
- explicit sexual content
- explicit nudity intended for sexual stimulation
- erotic content whose primary purpose is sexual arousal
- sexually graphic text, imagery, or promotional material
- links to pornographic or sexually explicit third-party pages
- eBooks marketed primarily as pornographic or sexually explicit material
The eBook Library is not a pornography platform, and absolutely no pornographic content may be listed, promoted, linked to, or distributed through the Platform.
B. Sexual Exploitation or Abuse Content
Content involving sexual exploitation, abuse, coercion, or non-consensual sexual activity is strictly prohibited.
Any content involving minors in sexual contexts, or content that appears to sexualize minors in any way, is strictly prohibited and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
C. Illegal Content
You may not upload, publish, promote, or distribute content that violates any law or regulation.
This includes, without limitation, content involving:
- fraud
- scams
- counterfeit goods
- unlawful services
- criminal instruction
- illegal drug sales
- unlawful weapons sales
- stolen property
- unlawful surveillance or hacking services
- content intended to facilitate criminal conduct
D. Infringing Content
You may not upload or promote content that infringes:
- copyright
- trademark
- trade secret
- privacy rights
- publicity rights
- contractual rights
- other intellectual property or proprietary rights
E. Deceptive or Misleading Content
You may not publish content that is false, deceptive, manipulative, or materially misleading.
This includes:
- fake credentials
- fake testimonials or fake reviews
- fabricated social proof
- impersonation
- false scarcity
- false guarantees
- misleading earnings claims
- deceptive health, legal, or financial claims
- misleading descriptions of what a buyer will receive
F. Harmful or Abusive Content
You may not upload or promote content that is:
- threatening
- harassing
- abusive
- hateful
- discriminatory
- defamatory
- invasive of privacy
- malicious
- intended to intimidate, exploit, or target individuals or groups
G. Malware, Spam, and Technical Abuse
You may not use the Platform to distribute or promote:
- malware
- viruses
- spyware
- phishing pages
- spam content
- harmful scripts
- deceptive redirects
- malicious downloads
- unauthorized automation
- scraping tools used abusively
H. Graphic or Extreme Content
Content that is excessively graphic, violent, gory, or disturbing may be removed or restricted, especially where it serves no legitimate educational, journalistic, artistic, or informational purpose appropriate to the Platform.
5. Restricted or High-Risk Content
Some content may be restricted, reviewed manually, or removed at our discretion even if not automatically prohibited.
This may include content involving:
- health or medical advice
- legal advice
- financial or investment advice
- high-risk business opportunity claims
- survival, self-defense, or tactical content
- regulated goods or services
- controversial or sensitive topics likely to create platform risk
- strong profanity or mature themes
- sensitive political or ideological content used in a deceptive, abusive, or inflammatory manner
The eBook Library may decide, in its sole discretion, that certain content is not appropriate for the Platform even if it is arguably lawful.
6. AI-Generated Content
If AI-generated or AI-assisted tools are used to create listing content or sales pages, the seller remains fully responsible for the final output.
AI-generated content must still comply with this Content Policy and may not be used to generate or publish prohibited content, including pornographic content, deceptive claims, fake testimonials, or unlawful materials.
The use of AI tools does not shift responsibility for content compliance away from the seller.
7. External Links and Third-Party Destinations
Sellers may not use The eBook Library to send users to third-party pages that contain or promote prohibited content.
This includes links to pages containing:
- pornography
- scams
- misleading checkout pages
- malware
- abusive or illegal material
- infringing downloads
- deceptive offers
- prohibited upsells or hidden content materially different from the listing
We may remove listings or pages that link to third-party destinations that violate this policy.
8. Seller Responsibility
Sellers are solely responsible for all content they upload, publish, link to, or promote through the Platform.
This includes responsibility for:
- accuracy
- legality
- substantiation of claims
- rights ownership
- compliance with platform rules
- ensuring linked pages and promoted materials also comply with this policy
9. Moderation and Enforcement
The eBook Library may, in its sole discretion:
- review content before or after publication
- reject listings
- unpublish listings
- remove or edit content
- restrict visibility
- suspend or terminate accounts
- request clarification or substantiation
- preserve records for compliance or legal reasons
- report unlawful content where appropriate
We may take action with or without prior notice where appropriate.
10. Repeat Violations
Users or sellers who repeatedly violate this Content Policy may have content removed, accounts suspended, seller privileges revoked, or platform access terminated.

12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Content Policy from time to time. When we do, we may revise the Effective Date and post the updated version on the Platform.
